We're Nantong Portman Bedroom Products Co., Ltd. — weaving cotton and linen in Nantong, Jiangsu since 1998. Today our mill ships fabric direct to designers, makers, and small brands worldwide — skipping the wholesale markup.

From the loom floor
100 looms, all running.
Walk into our weaving floor and you'll hear the hum before you see anything — over a hundred looms running in parallel, weaving everything from feather-light voile to slubby heavy linen.
Each loom has a name. Each runs about 30 meters per shift. We control the yarn, the dye, the weave, the wash — start to finish.
In-house dyeing
Color, in our hands.
We dye every shade ourselves, in small lots. That means tighter color matching across batches — and the freedom to develop new shades without minimums.
Our 8 signature shades are calibrated to work together: layer Bone with Sage, mix Clay with Olive, run Forest against Bone. We design them as a system.
